SCA INDUSTRY AWARDS FOR 2008 |
|
A total of 18 Entries were received in four of the six Categories available to members to participate in the Annual Industry Awards for 2008.
The SCA currently has 27 members that construct facilities for sports such as Tennis, Hockey, Netball, Basketball, Cricket, Athletics, Baseball and Skate Boarding.
There are 12 members who are Suppliers (3 of whom are also Builders) providing materials to Builder Members and other industry participants, and 5 Service Members who service sport facilities or provide technical advice.
Kevin McNamara & Son, as in previous years, were again highly successful in the Tennis Court Categories while Sports Technology International New Zealand followed their 2005 achievement of winning the Sports Facility of the Year Award and Playhard Sports Equipment were again successful as in 2007 in the Non Surfacing/Non Synthetic Category.
